We have entered the era of Green Environment , where we as an N.G.O. need to be more and more conscious of the damage caused by pollutants and emissions.
In our own humble but effective way we wish to change and in fact reverse this trend.
While we may understand that each and every one of us are , in one way or another, responsible for creating pollution & emissions, which perhaps are an inescapable part of our current living and working styles i.e. we need to commute and we need to travel , by bus, car, rickshaws or aircrafts, we can at least make some amends to negate or nullify these adverse effects.
We at SSIAST Trust office, with blessings of Poojya Gurudev, are therefore organizing a mega event to plant trees , throughout the length & breadth of India.
July 12th, 2014, is Guru Purnima and what better day than this to initiate this event. We at Bangalore Ashram have planned to plant 2014 trees in our own Ashram Land.
We now seek to reach out to your zeal for spreading the message to safeguard our country and let The Art of Living be on the world map of propagating a greener Environment.
